NOVA Cavs traveled down the beltway and head to the heart of PG County for the first time all season. In the opening game of the PVAAU DII District Qualifier, Cavaliers used a strong production off the bench and took a double digit lead midway through the 2nd QT. The 2012 season began for the 14u Cavaliers with an impressive double digit victory over Fairfax Stars. By using a stymied half-court defense, the scrappy Cavs team held their opponent to just 10 total first half points. The Cavaliers used several different players scoring from all over the floor, racing out to a big lead and never looked back to clinch their first win of the year.
