McLean, VA – The 10U NOVA Cavaliers finished the 2014 campaign with a strong run to the Fairfax Stars Summer League Championship game last week.
The 4th grade/10U Cavs (coached by Joe Sullender) earned the 3rd overall seed entering the playoff and defeated Burke to advance into the semifinal. Cavaliers then beat Fort Hunt to earn a berth to the Championship game. Despite a valiant effort, the Cavs fell to NOVA 94Feet Orange in the summer league final and walked away with a runner-up finish.
The NOVA Cavaliers organization would like to congratulate the 10U team on a wonderful season. Coach Sullender’s club represented the program with positive manner and the team showed steady progress throughout the year. We are extremely proud of their accomplishment!!
