April 20th – 22nd Weekend Tournament Recap
NOVA Cavs 17U-Dashti team winning the Tournament Championship at Hoop Group Pittsburgh Jam Fest in Pittsburgh, PA
Pittsburgh, PA / Baltimore, MD / Washington DC – Nine of the NOVA Cavalier teams were in action this weekend.
Our 14U-Sullender, 15U, 16U-Lin and 17U teams all traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to play in the prestigious Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center this past weekend. Coach Dashti’s 17U had a spectacular weekend, as they finished 5-0 in the tournament and took home the Steel Bracket Championship. Other Cavs teams also performed well throughout the weekend and represented the program with solid play.
NOVA Cavs 12U-DeSenti team winning the Tournament Championship at Zero Gravity Maryland Madness in Baltimore, MD
In the Zero Gravity Maryland Madness at the Park School in Baltimore, MD last weekend, Coach DeSenti’s 12U team played terrifically and finished as the Tournament Champions. Our 13U Cavs finished the tourney 2-2, while our 14U-Corish team went 1-2. The 16U Cavs-Fort team also went 1-2 in the Elevate Hoops DMV Hoop Fest in Washington DC.
Next weekend, our all teams will play locally in the DMV area.
