14U Cavaliers Summer Breeze Champion!
Purcellville, Virginia (July 21st)– The Cavs opened up the tournament with a 38-33 win over the D1SA Spartans in a game of big runs by both teams. In game two, the Cavs missed numerous easy buckets against the BRYC Tarheels, trailing in a low scoring affair with 6 minutes to go, before finishing the game on a 19-4 run to secure a 40-26 win. On Sunday, the Cavs concluded pool play with a 73-26 win against the Dulles Defenders to win the pool. In the championship, the Cavs faced D1SA again. The Cavs in their last game of the 2013 season came out with one of their best performances of the year, fueled by great team play, execution of adjustments, and shooting, cruising to a 53-19 win.
