Former Langley Saxons and Spire Academy Tavon Tarpley Commits to Play at HPU (HI)!!
The NOVA Cavs would like to congratulate stand out former Langley Saxons and NOVA Cavs’ own Tavon Tarpley on his recent commitment to play DII Basketball at Hawai’i Pacific University for the Sharks.
Tavon is the eighth Cavs player in the 2017 spring to commit playing college basketball at the next level (Idaresit Ekpuk – Mary Washington, Jack Foley – Augusta University, Nick Wright – Penn State Behrend, David Akinyemi – Bates, Sami El-Rafey – Bridgewater, Chas Battaglia – Dickinson College and Jordan James – Wesleyan University). He was a member of the Langley Saxons (20-6; Conference Championship) in 2016, where he was named to the Conf. 6 First Team All-Conference, 6A North All-Region Team, and selected to the NOVA Challenge All-Star game.
