17U O’Donnell fell 47-44 to the NOVA Heat in their opening game.  In an unusual circumstance, the Heat would forfeit after their pool games due to not having enough players for bracket play.  As a result, before the team’s second pool game, FYBA and the Cavs agreed to play a winner takes the championship and forego bracket play.  After a slow start the Cavs played great team ball and won 55-50.

17U Knoche participated in the Inner Harbor Challenge to conclude their season and finished the event with two strong wins on Sunday, defeating MD 3D Red 57-44 and MD 3D White 82-67 to finish the event 2-2.  16U Corish also finished the weekend 2-2 in the Charm City National Warmup at the New 24 in District Heights, MD.

10U and 11U will be beginning the Fairfax Stars Summer League this week and all teams will be off next weekend.
