NOVA Cavs participated in the Maryland Future Stars Tournament in Boyds, MD at Discovery Sports Center this past weekend Boyds, MD – Two of the NOVA Cavalier teams were in action this weekend.Congratulations goes out to 14U Cavs-Corish and 12U Cavs-DeSenti for both finishing as the Runner-Up’s to the Maryland Future Stars Tournament this past weekend in Boyds, MD. The 14U Cavs finished the tournament 3-1 with wins over MD Sharks, ELBL Apex and LR Ballers, before dropped the tournament final to a talented VA Panthers squad. Coach DeSenti’s 12U team also had a terrific weekend, as they completed the tournament 4-1 and advanced all the way into the Championship game. NOVA Cavs 16U-Fort team Winning the Battle of the Beltway Part 1 Tournament in Alexandria, VA at Mount Vernon HS Springfield, MA / Alexandria, VA / Baltimore, MD – Seven of the NOVA Cavalier teams were in action this weekend.Congratulations goes out to 16U Cavs-Fort and 15U Cavs-Sawitzky for taking home the Battle of Beltway this past weekend in Alexandria, VA. The 16U Cavs finished the tournament 4-0, with victories over Hoop Life, DMV Saints and DMV Supreme. This marked the first Tournament Championship of the year for Coach Fort’s group.
